Cecile Fusco

Cecile is originally from Virginia, but crossed the country to study at Pepperdine University where she received her Bachelor of Arts in International Studies with honors. After graduating, she served on the Board of Admissions for their undergraduate program before moving to Austin. Cecile worked for an investment bank before starting her own personal chef business. She was also a headhunter in the semiconductor and IT industries for a decade before opening up her own IOS consulting company with her husband. After becoming a mom, Cecile decided to focus her energy and creativity towards homeschooling her two children while blogging and learning photography. For over a decade, she has been a photographer in Austin focusing on music, events, performing arts, food, and portrait work. She's photographed Grammy Award–winning artists, dancers, Austin’s uniquely vibrant events, and countless families. Her work has been featured internationally by Billboard and Univision, and locally by NPR, Austin Monthly, KUTX, and the Austin American Statesman. Her work has also appeared on record albums and been featured by national food company's such as Annie’s Homegrown, Vega, and Crafty Counter.

Cecile has been part of the DANZA family since her daughter enrolled mid-year DANZA's first year. Since then, she has photographed countless recitals, studio-life, as well as offered seasonal studio mini-sessions. In addition to photography, she was also DANZA's administrative assistant for a couple of year before moving back to the Virginia. She currently works remotely doing website and digital content design for DANZA, and will continue to join us in-person to photograph end of year recitals and offer studio mini-sessions.
