For the children's program, admission is by placement class only. No previous dance training or preparation is required. The initial meeting consists of an evaluation and places the student in the appropriate level based on age and ability. To schedule, please contact us at 512-508-9285 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
What to Expect
Children will be assessed with simple musical exercises and stretches. Decisions are based on age, ability, and age-appropriate standards. Depending on questions, the process usually will take approximately 20 minutes.
What to Wear
If your child already owns dance attire, she/he may wear that. If your child has never danced before, she/he may wear form fitting, comfortable clothing and socks. Leotards, t-shirts, shorts, and bathing suits are acceptable. Skirts, leg warmers, and jewelry are not allowed. Have hair pulled away from face. Please keep in mind that if accepted, students will need to purchase a uniform.
Families will be informed of results via email. Admitted students will be provided registration, tuition, and class schedule information.
