ADULT CLASSES

The Adult Program, taught in a welcoming environment, is designed for adults of all ages and abilities. Options are provided in each class to accommodate a diverse range of movers. We offer both group and private lessons.

BEGINNER/INTERMEDIATE BALLET

Escape the stress of the work day and engage, enrich, and educate yourself on a challenging discipline that will leave you feeling free and looking forward to every class.  

 

This class is perfect for those who have taken a couple of our Absolute Beginner Workshops or are out of practice and wanting to return to ballet. Explore basic steps, positions, and concepts that form the foundation of more advanced technique, as well as building on your fundamental vocabulary.

Most students in this class have some experience but are still beginners wanting a challenge. Intermediate dancers are welcome to wear their pointe shoes! Students may wear ballet attire, or clothing that is comfortable and allows easy movement. Ballet shoes are required in studio. Don't forget your water bottle!

Mondays, 7:30 - 9:00 PM

INTERMEDIATE BALLET

Seeking to advance your technique?  Further your development of body and spatial awareness?  

 

This class is a continuation of our beginner ballet workshops, building on knowledge of classical vocabulary content and steps, adding arms and head positions. It is a full barre with some center steps for the intermediate or advanced beginner who has completed our Ballet Barre Workshops, has some ballet experience, or is returning from being out of practice.

Learn how to correctly use your body with proper alignment and optimum muscular involvement! 

 

Students may wear ballet attire, or clothing that is comfortable and allows easy movement. Ballet shoes are required in studio. Don't forget your water bottle!

Private lessons available: designed to fit the special needs of each individual person. This is YOU, your time!

Wednesdays, 7:30 - 9:00 PM 

ABSOLUTE BEGINNER BALLET WORKSHOP

Whether you are missing your childhood bunhead days, or ballet has been lingering on your bucket list for too long, this introductory class welcomes you with open arms and pointed feet!  

 

Exercise your body and mind as one! In an amiable and attentive setting, adults of any age partake in a progressive course. No previous experience needed; everyone is welcome! This class is an introduction to the study of classical ballet. The main focus will be on learning basic ballet technique. Emphasis will be placed on proper classical alignment of the body. All concepts are taught through a process of explanation, demonstration, and repetition.

Students may wear ballet attire, or clothing that is comfortable and allows easy movement. Ballet shoes are required in studio. Don't forget your water bottle!

Students register for this class by workshop. Drop-ins and class passes are not available, but tuition will be prorated from the start date if you miss the first week.​

Private lessons available: designed to fit the special needs of each individual person. This is YOU, your time!

Tuesdays, 7:30 - 8:30 PM

April 2 - May 7

BALLET SCULPT

This ballet based fitness class is a full body workout that will combine exercises and stretches that work towards a more defined, stronger, healthier YOU!

 

Strengthen, lengthen, and tone those muscles that are normally unaccustomed to being used. Be prepared to work on body alignment, toning, turn-out, and flexibility in the same way that the dancers on stage do! Get ready to feel the burn! Class will end with stretching. Ballet based stretches will increase your flexibility, relieve tight muscles, make you stronger, and help you move better in other dance classes. Leave with a clearer mind, recharged body, and energetic spirit, ready to conquer the rest of the day!

Students may wear ballet attire, or clothing that is comfortable and allows easy movement, and bare feet or ballet shoes. Don't forget your yoga mat and water bottle!

​

All skill levels welcome for a full body workout.

Private lessons available: designed to achieve your ballet fitness goals, based on your fitness level and desired results.

CLASS CARD PRICING â€‹

Class Pass (In Person Classes)

  • $20 | single class

  • $17 per class when you purchase 5 classes = $85

  • $15 per class when you purchase 10 classes = $150

  • $14 per class when you purchase 20 classes = $280

  • $13 per class when you purchase 30 classes = $390

RSVP is required through info@danzacenter.com. If the class is full, you can add your name to the waitlist in case someone cancels. If a spot becomes available, you will be notified by email. We recommend booking 24 hours in advance to guarantee your spot.

Class cards are good for 5 months from date of purchase. Our policy allows you to purchase a new class pass before the expiration date allowing the classes to roll into the next 5 month period. Class cards are not valid for workshops. All purchases are non-refundable and non-transferable. Workshops priced separately. Missed workshop classes cannot be made-up after workshop concludes. There are no membership nor registration fees for the adult program.

 

CANCELLATIONS

If you can not make class, please be courteous to those on the waitlist and cancel in advance. Cancelations are allowed up until 4 hours before the start of class by emailing info@danzacenter.com. Any later will result in a late cancelation or no show and will be charged for the class. If you don't arrive on time, you may have your spot given to someone on the waiting list. If you're running late, call or email ASAP to keep your spot.

COVID POLICIES

Masks are currently optional. Continue to follow CDC guidance for close contacts and positive COVID cases. Please do not attend class if you are feeling unwell.
