DANZA'S CURRICULUM

DANZA is the only school in Austin, Texas to include the AMERICAN BALLET THEATRE® National Training Curriculum, a breakthrough program that combines high quality artistic training with the basics of dancer health and child development. The ABT® National Training Curriculum consists of a comprehensive set of age-appropriate, outcome-based guidelines to provide the highest quality ballet training to students of all ages and skill levels. The teaching methods incorporate elements of the French, Italian, and Russian schools. Ada Márquez, Director of DANZA, Center for the Arts studied with and was certified through the very designers of the ABT® National Training Curriculum.

DANZA students have been accepted to summer intensives with Ballet Met, Colorado Ballet, Oregon Ballet Theatre, Orlando Ballet, Joffrey, American Ballet Theatre, Alonzo King LINES Ballet, Ruth Page Center for the Arts, and The Washington Ballet.

A Note from the Director of DANZA, Center for the Arts:

All art forms bring out what is hidden in a person. It is the direct guide to the truth of who they are. Learning how to express themselves mentally, physically, and emotionally, be comfortable in their own skin, welcome endless challenges, and embrace themselves as an individual is all part of the success achieved through a dance education.

DANZA was brought into existence with the intent to help foster students' potential through correct dance technique, as well as introduce the arts as a means of translating their reality into healthy expression. I look forward to imparting my knowledge, love, and passion for the arts to each student, and in turn celebrating the happiness & life it generates for them.
